The arrival of these migrants from Scandinavia signals the start of winter. Many other species will have arrived by then too.

Our bird walks are led by expert local volunteers who know the park really well – back of the hand sort of standard. If there’s a bird to be seen, they will probably find it. There are few better ways to find out about birds and birding than going out with one who knows. Our bird walks are for anyone with an interest in the birds and other wildlife of the Millennium Country Park. Wear warm, waterproof clothes and shoes. Some unmade paths and slopes.

£3/person.£1 reduction for concessions, Volunteers and Friends.
