Mushrooms and toadstools come in all shapes and sizes, and add colour and interest to an autumn walk in the countryside.  The Millennium Country Park is an interesting mix of habitats and should provide a good range of fungi, provided the weather has been kind to us; fungi are nothing if not unpredictable!
We will start the morning in the Forest Centre with a short introduction to fungi, explaining what to look at, the different types of fungi and how to collect them if necessary for identification as well as an intro to the Forest of Marston Vale and Millennium Country Park. After that, we’ll set out around the Park looking for and identifying whatever fungi we can, bringing some back for further examination afterwards.

£5 per person – book now at Reception, pay leader on the day.
