Creating the Forest – be part of it…
We want you to share the vision that has created the Forest of Marston Vale as it is today – and all our exciting plans for the future. There is still so much more to do and we want you to be involved, to help make a positive contribution to the well-being of future generations. There are many ways to be part of creating the Forest.
Volunteering can be a one-off event or a regular commitment. Our large team of Forest Volunteers contribute an enormous amount of time to the Trust (over 8,000 hours in 2011) and they are actively involved throughout the organisation, helping in the Forest Centre, as Volunteer Rangers in the Park, planting trees, taking photographs… the list is a long one!
As an independent registered charity we raise funds to continue planting trees and creating more green spaces in a variety of ways, and your support is vital to all of these.
You can become a Friend of the Forest by making a monthly donation, and in return enjoy invitations to exclusive events, free entry to the Wetlands reserve, discount in the Forest Centre shop and regular newsletters, while helping the Forest grow.
Dedicating a tree is a natural way to mark a memorable occasion in the life of people who are special to you, whatever that occasion may be.
You can visit any of our events – all funds raised go towards the creation of the Forest of Marston Vale, whether it’s a concert or a craft fair! We sometimes work with other charities too, for regular events like our Psychic Night and Pink ladies. See our events page for more details.
We welcome your donations, and you can rest assured that any money you donate will be used throughout the Forest of Marston Vale, to create woodlands, green spaces, opportunities for recreation and leisure, as well as new places in which wildlife will thrive. You can donate securely through PayPal (please click the logo below).
