Flynn, Autumn and Rares help us to plant 1000 trees

We’ve had a seriously amazing week planting kids with local school children, thanks to funding from Defra. We want to engage more children with trees and woodlands, and what better way to do it than to actually plant another piece of the Forest?!

School children from Flitwick, Houghton Conquest, Marston Moretaine and Cranfield have brought over 250 children to Waypost Wood in Cranfield, and between them they have planted an incredible 1000 trees! We are at the end of the planting season now (sad face!), but we’ll be doing it all over again next year, when we hope to get more children than ever planting trees. If you want more information about tree planting or how you can get involved in what we do at the Forest of Marston Vale then sign up to our newsletter, or email us.
