Submitted by on September 12, 2012 – 9:26 am2 Comments

We’ve put 9 minutes of stills, music and video on Youtube which you can see here – click the link above. This will give you just a taste of what was a lovely, friendly and sunny weekend, full of relaxed people enjoying summer’s end, wood, trees, great music, food and some really rather good bitter.

It happened at the Forest Centre over the weekend of 1 & 2 September. Enjoy

Great weekend! Only found this gem of a place and the Woodworks event cos my friends are celebrating their civil partnership at the Forest Centre. Highlights for my 2.5 year old son were seeing the bees in the apiary, the birds of prey, and watching the racing ferrets. We enjoyed the archery, burgers & sausages, morris dancing and the great music (my highlight being Swarbrick and Carthy). The wood and other crafts were lovely to see. We only wish we’d got there earlier in the day because 5 hours still wasnt enough for us!!
